Michele Deppisch
Wound Care Consultant and Vice Chair for the Support Surface Standards Initiative (S3I) committee
Michele Deppisch, a self-employed wound care consultant, brings extensive expertise to her field as a physical therapist and a certified clinical wound specialist through the American Board of Wound Management. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. With over 11 years of dedicated service to the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP), Michele has held various significant roles within the organization. Currently, Michele serves as Secretary on the NPIAP Board of Directors, contributing her knowledge and leadership to guide the organization's initiatives. She is also the Co-Chair of the Education Committee, where she helps develop and disseminate vital educational resources. Additionally, Michele is Vice Chair for the Support Surface Standards Initiative (S3I) committee, playing a key role in advancing industry standards for support surfaces.
