Arjo is inviting you to join Evan Call - an experienced Medical Device Test and Development Specialist and Research Scientist to : 

• Discuss the challenge in making sure the right patient receives the right support surface at the right time, and how the use of empirical performance data can help to support decision making and ensure the best outcomes for the patient

• Highlight the overall aims and purpose of the standard and its intended use in support surface performance assessment

• Highlight the links of the S3I standards initiative with the NPIAP and international guideline recommendations

• Discuss the test methods used in the standard and how these have evolved to quantify the aspects of immersion, envelopment and microclimate

• Discuss how the data obtained from such testing is interpreted and how this translates to surface performance and selection (e.g. surface selection/purchasing criteria)
