With the challenge of isolation stemmed from COVID-19 situation, the daily hygiene routines are a subject of concern and challenge. Personal hygiene is a key part in the life of every person. For people with reduced mobility and their carers, this becomes a challenge to live an independent and dignified life.

Hanneke Knibbe

Hanneke Knibbe holds a Cum Laude Masters degree in Human Movement Science and a Bachelors in Physical Therapy. In 2010 she received the Bernice Owen Award for Research in Patient Handling (USF, ANA, NIOSH), University of South Florida. Hanneke works at LOCOmotion Health and Research and has been involved as an independent researcher and consultant in all phases of national implementation of the Dutch covenants.

Nico Knibbe

Nico Knibbe has a Masters in Human Movement Sciences and co-founded the LOCOmotion consultancy with his sister and fellow mobility expert Hanneke. For over 30 years his passion has been to support healthcare providers in their important work by conducting and translating research into their daily practice.
