Arjo shares insights to advance the field of pressure injury prevention
Early detection and efficient prevention are areas in which Arjo is contributing to advancing the field of pressure injury prevention and improving patient outcomes. This month Arjo is presenting research and field insights at the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel annual meeting in Leeds, UK.

A strong commitment to advancing the field of pressure injury prevention is the foundation of the 18 abstracts that Arjo and partner Bruin Biometrics LLC will present at the 2023 European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (EPUAP) annual meeting in Leeds. The overarching theme of these abstracts is how to improve patient outcomes with several topics covering the benefits of measuring Sub-Epidermal Moisture (SEM) levels to detect pressure injuries early. This technique has been proven to reduce the incidence of pressure injuries by as much as 90 percent in an acute care setting.2
