Air-assisted lateral transfer devices such as AirPal are designed to assist with the transfer of patients who are unable to independently move from one surface to another and reposition within the bed.

The Disposable loop repositioning sling assists the caregiver to move or reposition the patient in bed including turning to and from the prone position and lateral transfer from one flat surface to another. It can reduce the risk of cross-contamination as it stays with the patient. It may be left under the patient between transfers (if clinical assessment allows).
