FloJac Patient Air Mattress
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality estimates that 700,000 to 1 million hospitalized patients fall each year. Patients in long-term care facilities are also at very high risk of falls. Approximately half of the 1.6 million nursing home residents in the United States fall each year!¹ To reduce the risks associated with recovering patients off the floor, every safe patient handling and mobility program should have a fall recovery device to safely raise a patient from the floor.
The FloJac® is an air mattress technology designed to protect caregivers, patients, and individuals during fall recovery in a safe and dignified manner.
The FloJac is designed with five individual chambers that inflate in a controlled and efficient manner, safely raising an individual to the height of a gurney or bed, allowing for a safe lateral transfer.

The FloJac is designed with five individual chambers that inflate in a controlled and efficient manner, safely raising an individual to the height of a gurney or bed, allowing for a safe lateral transfer.

• Five individual chambers; each chamber is designed with 2 pressure indicators that control inflation and deflation, allowing caregivers to easily transfer patients to surfaces of varying heights
• 10 wipeable ergonomic handles that enable better caregiver posture to safely move the individual
• A center line to aid in proper patient positioning and alignment • Large / clear printing for ease of use when inflating in emergency situations
• A unique head wedge allows the caregiver to place the individual in a semi-seated position that provides additional comfort to the individual and aids with breathing (functional residual capacity)
• No removable parts
• Safe Working Load of 1100 lbs
