Paediatric clip sling
The Paediatric clip sling is suitable for everyday patient handling routines such as bed and chair related transfers and it is designed specifically for children with an additional buckle in the head area.
It is intended for assisted transfers of children with limited ability to move and require full body support during transfer. The sling is suitable to remain under the child between transfers after appropriate assessment. Independent testing indicates that the sling does not interfere with the performance of a typically used support surface. This can support clinical decision making when assessing the risk of leaving the sling underneath patients between transfers, support efficient workflows and reduce the need for additional patient handling.
The clip slings are used in combination with DPS (Dynamic Positioning System) spreader bars, a system that allows the caregiver to position the resident or patient in the sling – from upright to reclined – reducing physical effort.
This sling should only be used together with Arjo passive lift systems (clip attachment) in accordance with the allowed combinations page on the specified section of the Instruction for Use.
