Carl needs assistance to perform daily activities
Sitting in his wheelchair, Carl has one hand on the rim of one wheel to show that he is still mobile enough to be able to move his wheelchair. He also is able to place one foot on the ground while resting the other on the footplate due to a lower leg injury, communicating that he can partially bear weight. Carl has sufficient static sitting balance to be able to sit upright in his wheelchair without the need for a upper body or head support.
