Arjo adds a sustainability link to existing 600 MEUR revolving credit facility

Arjo has entered into an agreement to add a sustainability link to an existing 600 MEUR revolving credit facility first signed in December 2021. The facility will be tied to Arjo’s Sustainability Framework 2030 and confirms the Group’s dedication to move its position within the sustainability area.

The renewed facility has a strong connection to the Arjo Sustainability Framework 2030. The interest rate margins for the facility are linked to KPIs covering the Group’s initiatives to decrease greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions within scope 1, 2 and 3, balanced gender representation in senior positions, and continue to raise the share of total purchases from suppliers having signed Arjo’s customized Code of Conduct for suppliers and business partners.

“This agreement clearly bridges our financial agenda with our sustainability efforts. Integrating our Sustainability Framework 2030 into our business and operations remains one of our key missions and this demonstrates we are on the right track. It also shows the importance of the financial sector driving sustainable development,” says Daniel Fäldt, CFO of Arjo.

The revolving credit facility is intended for general corporate purposes and was made possible through the backing of a global and regional bank consortium, with Danske Bank acting as Sustainability Coordinator and Facility Agent.
