Disposable clip limb sling

The Disposable clip limb sling assists the caregiver with lifting, supporting and positioning the limb for easier access when performing activities such as dressing, foot care, wound care and leg dressings. It is a patient specific product and should be used for a limited period only.

During patient handling tasks a limb sling may be necessary to support the limb. The weight of a limb may increase the risk of physical overload to the caregiver and risk of injury. To help reduce this risk a limb sling can be used with Arjo passive ceiling lifts and floor lifts to raise and support the legs for purposes of assessment or during care procedures.

The Disposable clip limb sling assists the caregiver with lifting and supporting limbs of patients with reduced mobility, when positioning the limb to perform various tasks, such as; foot care, wound care and leg dressings.

As single patient use, it reduces the risk of cross contamination and can easily be disposed of if soiled, damaged or suspected of being contaminated. Always on hand for the caregivers, disposable slings do not need to be sent away for laundry; so there’s no need to worry about lost or damaged slings.

This sling should only be used together with Arjo passive lift systems (clip attachment) in accordance with the allowed combinations page on the specified section of the Instructions for Use.
