Phoenix 2
Designed for highly dependent patients with complex postural and seating needs.
The Phoenix 2™ is a clinically designed chair to provide maximum postural support and comfort.
Incorporating caregiver, clinical and patient feedback, Phoenix 2 has been engineered to offer the highest levels of clinical support for high dependency patients while offering caregivers an enhanced user experience when caring for their patients. The features of the Phoenix 2 combine global clinical seating guidelines with the Seating Matters ‘4 Principles of Effective Clinical Seating.’ The chair is designed to help in the prevention of pressure injuries, sliding and falls from the chair, and to encourage early mobilization for patients who spend the majority of their time in bed.
Improved adjustability and configuration features are based on new anthropometric research data, particularly in the shoulder and head areas, and they ensure that caregivers can easily configure the chair to maximise patient clinical wellbeing and comfort.
Accommodating a variety of spinal conditions, the Phoenix 2 adapts to the changing needs of patients in ICU, HDU, SCI and through rehabilitation, or to meet the long term needs of a progressive condition. The Phoenix 2 is compatible with stand aids and hoists.
