Melvajean Eason has 34 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist primarily in the areas of acute care, long term care, home health, industrial rehab, and ergonomics. She currently works as a Clinical Consultant for Arjo, providing clinical consultative services for Safe Patient Handling Mobility (SPHM) and Outcomes programs (2007 - present). Areas of expertise include SPHM Program Implementation with a focus on Outcomes, Task Analysis, Industrial and Office Ergonomics, Home Assessment, Industrial Rehab and Functional Restoration Program Development, ADLs, and Adaptive Equipment evaluation.She is a former Positive Approach to Care ® Certified Trainer for Persons Living with Dementia and is working towards becoming a Certified Consultant.
